Not only that, they pigeonhole people.
Imagine if you were a goth or emo or metalhead in high school. Now imagine you did stuff that made it so you could never shed that label without great difficulty.
These kids are adopting what will feel like permanent identities for temporary feelings.
And the progs want it because, while no one really ever had an issue with tomboys, “non-binary” and the alphabet nonsense rile people up and push them one way or another.
It’s sick and vile but mostly stupid.

Too much free time and a lack of any "real" struggle in life lead to this shite. We have it way too easy in this country now and we're just determined to invent problems, struggles, and strife that isn't there.
Not to mention victimhood has become the new social currency since the advent of the internet. You can't be "anybody" these days without some sort of perceived dibilitating social struggle, nobody younger than 25 thinks the normal straight white dude has any value and he's damn sure not getting any attention on social media. So they invent these labels for themselves as a sort of minority status and claim to victimhood in an effort to simply fit in.
It's both fascinating and fricked up to watch. When everyone fits into some "minority" status then you're no longer the minority nor the victim being oppressed, but they haven't done the math on that yet
