My tennis club is back open, but they shut down the water fountains and they aren’t allowed to set out ice chest with waters like the used to do.
I guess if more than one person reaches into an ice chest in this 89 degree weather while outside in the sun you will catch the virus and then try to sue the club. LOL
I can’t wait to see what the genius regulations will be when they open the pool and bar up this weekend

So they’re all just full of shite when they don’t allow us to wear gloves for the sake of wearing gloves in any hospital in the country?
Touching multiple surfaces with exposed gloves due to a false sense of confidence is still far worse than extra hand washing of exposed hands and then touching those surfaces.

Take the stores that restrict their hours. Think about that. The same amount of people are going in your store (if I need a widget and you sell widgets, I'm coming in to buy one.) So all we've done is shove the same amount of people into a facility in a compressed amount of time. Masks no sense.
I'm pretty sure the grocers here were restricting store hours to give their employees time to restock when people were absolutely cleaning out the shelves.

If we have sunk to this level our society is broken.

I don’t have any expendable fricks to debate the semantics of wearing gloves with you. You just can’t provide an intelligent argument to support your silly notion. It’s fine. I gave you a downvote and that’s where we can leave it.

Those lines have very clear spacing markings on the ground and I've yet to see someone not stand on them while in line.
They do to a point, once it gets long enough they cease to have markings and people were 1 ft apart.

Is it a bottleneck when you're going in one at a time?
It is when there are also people coming out and there are 3 HD employees standing there...I guess counting, as well as a bunch of carts piled up.

You serious Clark? Without this stupid measure I would have gone from my car to the outdoor section which was wide open, gotten my shite and gotten out without coming withing feet of anyone except the cashier. WITH this measure I was close to the people in line, people at the front door, and people I had to pass in the store.

I'm overwhelmed with your brilliance. Truly.

Improper use of gloves is not beneficial. In ANY way. There are no semantics at play here. Sorry if you can’t comprehend a simple post.

Do you have data to support this claim? Me thinks no. And hour restrictions are just as much about protecting staff as protecting patrons. If there’s one thing this virus has exposed, it’s all the ignorance on this site. Quite entertaining though.
So, Einstein, tell me how having a higher concentration of people in your facility is protecting your employees? Isn't the whole point of this social distancing farce spreading people out?
By your logic, we can go ahead and pack Tiger Stadium for college football. But only for one half. But because the game was originally supposed to be four quarters, limiting it to a half magically protects everyone from the Chinese Flu. We've restricted the hours!!!

This reminds me of another board where the same thing is posted and the same responses are given every day by the same people.
It's sort of entertaining, and revealing, but it gets old after awhile. It's like a train wreck, you just can't help looking at it.

I have never once seen there staging area full, and I've gone at all times of the day.

the entrance is one way and no where near the registers.

I'm fairly certain you're lying about all of it, so whatever.

The staging area at mine literally had 4 X's...wasn't hard to fill up.

There were a few people trying to use it as an exit still, there were a bunch of employees and they piled every cart in front the doors..so yea it was pretty packed.

What part of the above sounds like a lie?

No way. They have workers at the self checkout directing you to the other side to exit.

All of it

At the outlet mall yesterday people would walk out of a store and then immediately touch their face to take the mask off, after just touching the card reader at the store that several people have just touched, then would proceed to put it back on after standing in line before entering the next store.

Brilliant enough to discern there were no insults in my post.

People are dumb, we've covered this. Doesn't mean you need to be.

Gloves only make sense if the virus is transmitted transdermally. Washing hands and not touching your face are much better defenses against infection.
Posted on 5/21/20 at 12:16 pm to LNCHBOX
It means the regulations are bullshite and just used to virtue signal and don’t really help
