You apparently never go out in public and/or pay attention to anyone or anything around you.

It's reducing possible spread via those that are following it. Even if the aren't, the separation I've noticed in public is much greater than what it used to be. There is no legal ramification of you not following any of this, so why are you so bothered by it anyway?

No, I recognize they're doing nothing
There you go again. You are ignorant on this but you're too stubborn to just stop talking about it.

Because I expect public policy to be effective and useful, otherwise it should not be public policy.

It is effective and useful though.

I'm demonstrated in many threads why you're wrong. You refuse to accept it, so you just repeat yourself.

Not really. Unless your measure of effective public policy is based on feelings.

I'm not repeating myself. I'm repeating your debate technique.

I've beaten you over the head with facts in several threads. You are unwilling or too stupid to acknowledge them.

I'm not trying to prove anything to you right now. You've shown yourself to be too stubborn to learn anything.

To pass time.

Even used improperly, it reduces teh spread. Trying to argue against that makes you a dumbass.
So the person wearing gloves for hours at a time from the store to their car to their home is reducing the spread? The guy with a mask down below his nose is reducing the spread?

Yes. Reduce does not equal eliminate. It's a really hard distinction for some apparently.

No they aren't.
Yes they are. I stood in one of those lines.... to be funneled into a bottle neck at the front of home depot, only to immediately exit the store to the wide open garden section. Thank God that safety procedure was in place to keep me from just staying outside and picking up some stuff to plant

This whole thing is a farce.
Take the stores that restrict their hours. Think about that. The same amount of people are going in your store (if I need a widget and you sell widgets, I'm coming in to buy one.) So all we've done is shove the same amount of people into a facility in a compressed amount of time. Masks no sense.
It's this urge to virtue signal or show the world "we're doing something!"

Those lines have very clear spacing markings on the ground and I've yet to see someone not stand on them while in line.

Is it a bottleneck when you're going in one at a time?

Relevance?

Do you have data to support this claim? Me thinks no. And hour restrictions are just as much about protecting staff as protecting patrons. If there’s one thing this virus has exposed, it’s all the ignorance on this site. Quite entertaining though.

I did not say eliminate. All of those examples I mentioned are NOT reducing the spread. You can argue the gloves are actually increasing it. Wearing gloves in multiple settings is much more likely to contaminate multiple surfaces than going gloveless with increased hand washing. Having a contaminated mask on your face pulled under your nose is more likely to expose you than no mask at all. Continuous touching and shifting of a mask while touching other things in public especially with gloves worn for an extensive period of time also a big no no.
Yet you see this in every store, every day by multiple people. PPE can absolutely be more harm than good to a large segment of the population when they’re using it incorrectly.
