You used cisgender. You’re part of the problem pal.

Why isn't male or female listed in there?

So what? Do you care if a biological male in a dress finds you insulting? Why? Their (see what I did there LOL) being insulted is a result of their emotional immaturity. Unless it is someone whose opinion of you matters to you, say your son or daughter, why would you care what they thought of you? If it is someone who matters you have an issue...either their opinion shouldn't matter to you are their opinion is correct and you should work on doing better....if it matters to you. if it doesn't who in the frick gives a damn? So what if someone labels you as offensive....I have news for you, I assume you, like me, are a straight white male, probably approaching or well into middle age. We are offensive to somebody. It is inevitable. There ain't a thing in the world we can do about it....why be concerned with it. Life is too short to worry about the opinions of others....if it hits change, if it don't frick 'em....

I’ll never play along. If you want to label me offensive for that reason, I will wear it as a badge of honor.

I am Omnigender - experience all genders at once. I experience all 72 at once.

70 of those gender claims should fall under insanity disability coverage.... oh other thread. :p

because me misgendering someone could lead to me losing my job and livelihood. There are no consequences for them calling me backwards, old-fashioned, or a bigot. Victimhood culture tied to this shite is a weapon, used selectively. And you know this.

half right. I am a straight white male. I’m not approaching middle age.

BOOM. This is the answer. So what if someone gets offended....it happens. It is offensive to many people to have to consider what pronoun is appropriate. They are no more right or wrong than the moron who is offended by someone using the wrong pronoun....people say shite, other people ALLOW themselves to be offended. That is an issue for the offended not the offender, if that person actually exists....

Who's to say there are only 72? Maybe there's 10 billion. The arrogance of the author to limit genders to only 72 is astounding!

thats my take...it is infinite what an individual can self identify as and infinite what someone else can identify them as. I find most people to be assholes. It is probably due to me being an a-hole but there it is....

I find it interesting how only 2 of these 72 genders start with a later letter in the alphabet than H, and none start with a later letter than O. Words do somewhat disproportionately start with earlier letters in the alphabet, but it still seems almost impossible that the gender terms would be this disproportionately early in the alphabet.
It's almost like the author was planning to make an even longer list of genders than this, and they were making a list in alphabetical order, but they got bored after the letter H and decided to stop at that point.

Gender identities are like plants. Find a new one and you can name it.
There are two genders, the earth is not flat, the sun does not circle earth, unicorns/pots of gold at the end of rainbows/yeti’s are fantasy, and the moon landing was not a hoax.

So you have a job where, if you said "yes ma'am" to someone you identified as a woman who self identified as a man you could lose your job? I would suggest preemptively losing such a tenuous position on my own terms. I would not allow myself into such a precarious situation.
On the other hand if you mean you intentionally misgender someone that is a you issue. If you are intentionally being rude and dismissive in that way to a co-worker or a customer you should be fully aware of what the consequences might be. If not. you are allowing yourself to be in a precarious position. If, however, you do know or suspect what the consequences are and you intentionally do it whatever happens happens...you made a decision, live with it. We have limited free speech in the US....we can pretty much say anything we damn well please. We have never been free of the consequences of our exercising that right.

I’ve got to hand it to you — it’s genuinely impressive how you can completely flip your stance in just two pages, all for the sake of being contrarian.

My favorite is "Tollhousegender", that's the gender with chocolate chips.

How have I flipped? If you mistakenly misgender a person and get fired you are better off than living in that situation. If you intentionally do it and get fired you should have known better. Its all about personal responsibility. Own every aspect of your life, do not be a victim.

do not be a victim.

Funny you bring up that word. Cancel culture is manufactured victimhood used to victimize others who’s beliefs don’t align with yours. It’s a political cudgel wielded by Marxists — whether it’s about trans issues or minority groups. That’s the point: it has no place in a healthy society.
You’ve gone from virtue signaling on page one, to playing Billy Badass on page two, and now you’re back to scolding me over some hypothetical where my words might hurt someone. It is more disingenuous bullshite in the form of 4 paragraphs at a time, all to play the OT contrarian role.
