The left leaning posters on this site aren’t as solidly liberal as this site acts. Otherwise you guys wouldn’t be posting here as long as you have. The average r/politics user, twitter “activist”, or Mandy supporter would be too abhorred by this site to stay here.

For sure. I know a lot of people on the left irl and they look at me like i'm Glen Beck when i tell them that even though I choose to wear a mask when I go out, i also dont think a mayor or governor should have the authority to mandate mask wearing without state legislature or city council approval.
Sports teams politics are the worst.

For me it's being supportive of black people in their quest to fight racism but simultaneously acknowledging that the cancel culture that is interwoven into BLM and other left movements is dangerous and inherently fights against our basic American ideals. You'd think I just condoned racism
