Newer Ford diesels suck. Badly.

But they have a very good new 6.2L V8 gasoline engine.

This isn’t even the first $100,000 truck from Ford

The 2017 Shelby F150 Raptor was going for $108,000 last year

I love when non-car people come in these threads.

For that price, it should have an engine upgrade. Maybe a jet engine.

At Bohn Bros Ford dealership on the West Bank, they have a $100k F150 but it is supercharged with about 800hp.

Lol If you spend that kind of money on a Ford, you deserve all of the problems that come with it.

Dumb statement is dumb. ALL manufacturers have some issues, but Ford obviously builds a damn good truck, as they are the top selling vehicle almost every year.

These threads always bring out the nonsense.

We aren't talking about some row crop farmer from Iowa buying this to make runs to the feed store in.

These trucks are for the elites. The wealthy business owners, people that have made millions in O&G, shite like that. Cant have a spoiled wife or daughter hauling her $75k barrel horse and pulling a $150k trailer with some old farm truck

But personally id rather pull it with a Freightliner

was just thinking the same thing. Cutters, penners, ropers will get this to pull a six-horse slant load with slideout LQ. Not all of them, but I can think of about at least 4 people in WBR/PC that would buy this type of truck and not think twice about it.

Guess they never heard of the F-150 Shelby Edition.

LINK

ETA: I see unknownknight beat me to it. I saw a blue F-150 Shelby on the road in NM a few months back and did a triple take, it looked pretty good in person. Seeing as they only made 150 of them it is kinda odd to find one in NM, must be an oil baw or a pecan farmer.

again, that's not a production Ford. It's a specialty from Shelby.

See, agree with you.

What else would you choose to pull your 34' Boston Whaler / 35' Contender / etc. with?

I wouldn't fault a person of means electing to by a truck that's a bit nicer than the XLT.......this is NOT the jacked up truck nuts vehicle.

It's not only ford. A friend of mine just bought a dodge and he said when he was signing the papers a guy was there who just bought a 3500 limited whatever dodge diesel and the window sticker was over 100,000.
