Meet the 1965 Apollo 5000 GT Coupe, out of Oakland California.
It was powered by a Buick engine, and a yellow one was featured in the 1968 Disney classic "The Love Bug" as the Thorndyke Special.

I had one in the late 90's. Absolutely loved that car. So much fun to drive.

I upvoted. Mostly because I'm sentimental about the brand.
For real though, Buick makes some clean arse looking cars these days. Back when cars were a thing.

Anyone remember the 86 Buick Riviera that had the first touchscreen radio similar to todays tech. It wasn’t received well, and wasn’t seen again until 15 or so years later.

That's an ugly vehicle, look at a late 60's model 442.

I really really hate GM got rid of Oldsmobile. That brand had some badass cars over the years
They should revive it and produce a cutlass model like they do the Camaro

In my mind the late 90s wasn’t long ago but then I see something like this car and realize it was a long time ago

The Intrigue and Aurora looked better than the earlier Cutlass. And the ones with the 3800 series V6 lasted forever.
I liked the Buick Riviera better still.
