That snow fall earlier this year was fricking wild. I wish we had that every year.

I don’t think I appreciated exactly how crazy it was to be ice skating down Saint Charles with my car sliding like a sled next to a blanket white Audubon. It was surreal seeing New Orleans blanketed like that. Snowballs flying and snowmen everywhere. Walking to the neighborhood bar like it was the place of refuge in Northern Canada
I wouldn’t mind having that exact amount for that length of time every year.

With corporate-inspired anthropomorphic climate change, expect it to happen a lot more often, white devil!

Was thinking about this the other morning and have the same feeling. Probably never see that again in my lifetime.

Was talking a while back with the guys at work about it. Same as you, I wouldn't mind it once a year or once every couple.

they can have that, the water pressure had me nervous for a week

I enjoyed it, my kids enjoyed it. Unless they move as adults to states where it snows like that often, they will never see that again. I haven't seen that much snow since my freshman yr of college in Missouri. I wouldn't mind seeing it once or twice every few years.

It really was something impressive.

I’m on the fence. I had a blast with my boy, but also had to bring our tortoise inside for multiple days and breaking up ice dams on the edge my roof sucked. Older I get the less I want to be affected by weather.

I Really never thought I’d see that down here in my lifetime. There was a good one a few years before that, but not nearly as wild as last year.
The last time I saw snow in LA before the second to last one had to be at least 25 or 30 years.

You're likely right. I'm going to hit 73 in a few more weeks and that was, hands down, the most snow I've seen in N.O. in my lifetime.
There were a few other times it did accumulate for a few hours and even a day or so but never like it did earlier this year.
