I think the response is not nearly as bad as it being portrayed. The most concerning to me was the lack of medical supplies and testing kits and how reliant we as a nation are to other countries in supplying these products.

I hope this changes and we become more self-reliant for critical products and supplies. Stockpiling these are essential moving forward.

If you were following the news back in January,going into February Trump was preoccupied with the impeachment fiasco.
I agree Trump kinda dropped the ball but I’ll give him a pass considering all the Democrat Russia collusion hearing bullshite and then the impeachment nonsense.When he enacted the travel ban from China he was excoriated by the Dems and the fake news media as being xenophobic.
If the Dems and MSM would let Trump be president and focus their energies on defeating him in 2020 elections instead of trying to destroy him the country would be much better off.So would they,all they have to offer as a candidate is a demented old POS.

No, take it up the man who the Fat Orange Bastard appointed to lead the CDC. Perhaps the fact that many appointments is such agencies remained infilled because a Trump doesn’t prioritize. Not to mention the revolving door of acting FDA Commissioners since Trump took office.
When the tests weren’t becoming readily available, most leaders would ask what the frick with the hold up and demand it be fixed. They would ask for options, alternatives. They would want frequent updates. Because it was the fricking linchpin to the crisis.
Trump was briefed early about the coming threat. “It’s a hoax.” It will go away. “ a miracle.”

He’s no Truman. The buck always stops somewhere else!!!
