I mean, it's a business. You already have the people who like football watching, you already have the fans of each team watch... The rational next step is to go for those who wouldn't watch football on their own.

I don't even think you could narrow down one genre, much less artist, that would capture the demographic of actual football watchers.

I like them but unfortunately they don’t appeal to a large enough audience.

You are probably right. I’ve seen the countless times since the 90s and they are amazing.

Most talented male artist of the last 15 years?

I'm a really big JT fan, like really really big... But Bruno Mars has JT absolutely whipped talent wise.

As a "fans artist" JT wins though, BM doesn't have the "connection" with his fans like JT does (or the range of what he can do)

Should’ve bought the rest of the boy band in for an impromptu reunion.

I really liked the Prince tribute

I did as well. I was sort of expecting him to give some type of tribute to Prince since it is in Minnesota, but I like the shot when they showed outside of the stadium and the Prince symbol appeared.

How many nights would you stay at Michael jacksons house to get to play a super bowl?

I love Justin but thought that performance was bad. He didn't even bother to sing half of it.

TV 101 jackass.

The Super Bowl is the most watched event of the year. Since ratings dictate value the price of advertisements, they maximize ratings by providing entertainment that will catch the interest of people who are not the traditional football fan.

Bruno Mars and Prince both shredded him.

I think they have broad enough appeal, but I'm not sure they translate well to a quickie halftime show and am not sure they would even want to do it at this point.

Yeah Prince had one of the best SB HT performances. Michael Jackson did as well. I remember years ago when the Black Eyed Peas performed and they were pretty good.. I was pumped when Slash came out from the bottom of the stage.

So all of JT's fans are school aged kids? He has been around for awhile, he has a pretty wide age range of fans.

Yes. Like I said, I am a huge Bruno Mars fan. He knows how to perform, he can dance, but JT is a much better dancer.

I wasn’t referring to halftime performance...I was talking about total career during the past 15 years. I guess I should have been more specific. JT halftime performance wasn’t that great.
