Do you know / can you say if the trailer and team will still be there this weekend? I plan to check out the condition of the Five Mile Creek trail that runs through there and would like to say hello and thanks.

FYI..I personally paid for those cameras. They are used to prevent theft of our equipment at night. Yes we had stuff stolen. Sometimes we have to leave the trailer in the middle of no where for a night or two. We can monitor our stuff remotely. Get your facts straight ..MR KEYBOARD MOTOR MOUTH.

Yeah, no shite. It's a joke, admiral.

Why do you care if they post on social media? Are the people they gave their time and effort to help some how less benefited bc it was acknowledged on social media
If you drive hours away and give your time to help someone post it, I don’t care bc you did in fact help people
I swear some people on this board can find anything to bitch about

Louisiana sucks in a lot of things.....

Helping people in crisis isn't one of these.

Lived in South Louisiana for 5 years. Easily the best people you will ever meet. Cant vote worth a shite though. I think it's because they think that politicians are good people like them. They aren't stupid, but maybe naive.

I understand that there have been people who use the "cajun navy" moniker to scam and/or attention seek, but honestly, why is it a bad thing to get the message or name of an organization out to more people? Who knows, maybe someone saw a Facebook post today and will get in touch with some people in the future that will be able to help them when their house is scattered over a couple square miles. All because they saw a trailer with some decals that made them stop and think "hmm, glad those baws from LA are helping us Gumps out in the face of adversity. Them baws know what Mother Nature does and it's pretty cool they're helping us out". (Just like other outside organizations have helped out LA in the aftermath of hurricanes)

But, yeah, just laugh it up at people who want to help...

Nah they’re stupid and naive. But they’ll give you the shirt off their back and love eating. Two strong qualities
