re: Thank goodness New York killed this dangerous squirrel

Probably something stupid like... it's illegal in New York to own a squirrel, and since this squirrel could no longer survive on its own in the wild, they did the humane thing for the squirrel. By killing it.
As George Carlin once said, "We've educated ourselves into idiocy."
This thread makes me feel like I'm back at work in the plants, where the rules make no sense. The safety man says I have to be tied off if I am 4 foot off the ground. I ask, why, my lanyard is 6 foot long? He says, uh, you might decide to go higher. I say, What about all of the potential hazards caused from me wearing a harness unnecessarily. What if the lanyard gets caught in rotating equipment? He says Uhhh????? Just follow the lawyers' rules or be fired.

Shocking. A liberal white woman started all of this. Is there anything worse than a liberal white woman?

The Ballad of Peanut
Just a lonely squirrel, in a big ol world, with his mama dead and gone,
She was roadkill and his outlook rather grim,
Then a man with a gentle hand,
Took pity on that little one,
Called him Peanut as he kindly took him in,
He made it through the night thanks to the kindness of that man,
Who called Peanut a friend for seven years,
Then some pissant petty tyrants,
Took Peanut ever away,
And when they told him what they'd done he came to tears,
[chorus]
Oh Peanut, you're forever in the sky,
You look down with Harambe at your side,
We'll make sure, it was not in vain you'd die,
So mount up baws, for Peanut now we ride
[verse]
They can let inside illegals, when we're filled up to the brim,
Yeah they'll bring em in,
From all over the world,
Saying nothing if they murder,
Fill our cities with mayhem,
But they'll bring the state to bear,
For a little squirrel.
Now let this be a lesson, those who sit upon a fence,
All that you love is all you'll have to lose,
'Tween freedom or the tyrants,
Who come busting down your door,
Unlike Peanut you get a chance to choose
[chorus]
Oh Peanut, you're forever in the sky,
You look down with Harambe at your side,
We'll make sure, it was not in vain you'd die,
So mount up baws, for Peanut now we ride

This is kind of funny.. A bunch of squirrel hunting mouther frickers upset over a city killing a squirrel that was some dude's pet.
Hunters are more respectful of our relationship with animals than any other group of people on the planet. Believe it or not we’re smart enough to know the difference in a pet and a wild squirrel.
And if the government overreach doesn’t upset you then you shouldn’t be part of society. They tore through this guy’s house for hours over a squirrel and a raccoon.

OweO's exactly the sort of guy to call in a false report in order to get the state to punish someone for having a "wrong opinion"
and That's what that democrat woman did

They could not just quarintine the squirrel and the racoon vs. killing them?

And people think govt would never follow a gun confiscation order
If they’ll enter your home unconstitutionally to take a pet squirrel they’ll do way worse. What was even the justification for this? Is it illegal to have a pet squirrel? Even if that’s the case why kill it and not let it go free into the wild?
Looked like a cool pet, I feel bad for the guy. Typical government overreach ruining a good thing to a good person. And we’re supposed to be a free country? LOL

Yep
When it comes down to it, cops and the military will murder you because their boss told them to. They’re loyal to their command and not some worthless oath they took.

They only live like 5-7 years. Good lord.

stole Peanut, and in just 48 hours, ended the life of this harmless, beloved pet.
Well, yeah.
Of course some hood rat shoves a white personal onto the subway track they don’t do shite.
So glad to see their priorities are well chosen.

Seriously, look at this headline… “the lawful removal of an illegal immigrant in New York” would be considered controversial by the media and Dem politicians
They committed a full SWAT raid and euthanized animals harming no one because Peanuts owner didn’t pay his wildlife rehab license (aka tax/stamp)

In the wild this is true. However, squirrels in captivity, like Peanut, can live between 15-20 years with proper care.
