Let the bodies hit da flo let the bodies hit da flo
Stack the bodies as high as you like, people won't stop texting and driving.
Sad but true.
Stack em High while I text and drive

at work, anyone so much as answering the phone while driving is fired...no questions asked.

Yes you need a law for this and for the same reason you need a law that says you can't drive when you're drunk, Even though both are obviously do not dos. this person should get the same treatment as someone over the limit.

Put your phone on silent and in the glovebox. It's an easy habit to get into.

You need a law to start putting these idiots under a jail.

This thread needs some Law Enforcement color photos of some crushed skulls with brains blasted out, preferably of some 21 year old blonde blue eyed girl who lost control of her vehicle while texting.
LE officers assigned to investigate traffic fatalities will take these kinds of photos that are always very close hold. If more people could see the beautiful young girl with a skull crushed like a melon in the Living Color of a traffic investigation photograph, maybe somebody would take heed.
Some cops keep a file of their more gory photos of suicides and traffic accidents to show noobs and make them nauseated. I've seen some horrible pics. I don't want to see more. I do pity the poor cop that has to see these young victims' crushed, splattered and blasted remains.

You don't think it could fall under "Wreckless operation".
This person will be punished, with 14 counts of vehicular manslaughter.

Update on the cause of the crash.

UVALDE — Jack D. Young had taken prescription pills and was in possession of marijuana when he crashed his pickup into a church bus March 29 on U.S. 83, killing 13 people, according to court records released Tuesday that also bolstered reports that he was texting while driving. Young reported after the crash that he had consumed two pills of Clonazepam — which Young said make him sleepy — and the generic forms of the prescription drugs Ambien and Lexapro, a state trooper said in a sworn statement that stated he had probable cause to believe Young was intoxicated.

I love when people complain about a law when it does nothing to stop people from doing retarded shite. One of my favorites is when someone gets a DWI people always bitch about how they should have their license revoked. This doesnt stop someone from getting in a car and driving. Believe me I know.

That's like the motorcycle helmet law, you shouldn't have to waste time writing a law for idiots. Let natural selection run it's course

Sounds like he had taken at least three sedatives and at least one antidepressant. Definitely more than a texting while driving incident. Makes sense as to why he was driving from shoulder to shoulder while giving little fricks about it.

Sounds like the dispatcher should have listened on one of those calls and gotten a cop car out that way to stop him.
- I've called before on someone and then driven behind them on the interstate for 20 miles cause I was too scared to try and pass. I really doubt they ever listen to tips like that from people on the road, maybe in small little towns with little crime where the cops are just waiting for something to happen all day

To be fair, not wearing a helmet on a motorcycle only endangers yourself. Texting while driving endangers yourself and the public.
