It also seem like the travel ball families control most of the tickets

So it’s like the circus mixed with the mafia with a little baseball

I know they travel around. So do the Globetrotters. I saw them a couple times, was entertained, and that’s that.

I guess they hit up enough cities to stay fresh.

They seem to have multiple teams. To where they are almost their own leauge. They play most games in a few home stadiums but travel all over. I first heard of them a free weeks ago when they sold out Fenway back to back. They bring bigger crowds than the home team and tickets are hard to come by.

I mean, the Red Sox play 81 home games a year.

I sold the ones I won for $60. I could have gone more, but they went to someone who missed the Bananas last time

It looks like they fixed the biggest problem in baseball. By making it less boring.

And WWE fixed wrestling.

It’s entertainment. If there’s a market for it, good for them.

Some sports seem to have forgotten that it's all about entertainment to start with

Looking forward to taking my nephew to it... and only at $35/ticket

It's a status thing. Some families will pay almost anything for kids to attend the big event and buy swag to wear to school and so they brag to the other parents.
I took my son a couple years back before it was huge and tics were cheap. The show was more amusing than the regular minors games but not something I'd go to twice. I was surprised how much swag was being bought at high mark up. Son had fun but thought it was silly so many paying top dollar for goofy bananas jerseys. He couldn't grasp why they wouldn't rather rep their favorite real teams.

They are carnies, same as professional wrestling.
They are absolutely athletes and absolutely talented.

I honestly don’t understand it. It’s obviously popular. I just don’t know how this has lasted this long.

Cannot fathom having this take as a grown man. Yes, if Clayton Kershaw would get off the mound every once and a while and do a TikTok dance and the ump did a twirl after ringing someone up baseball would finally be great. I'm ashamed that TD loves the Bananas too. Of course, I wouldn't blame anyone taking their kid or even if they just went once or twice by themselves. but saying the Bananas saved baseball is beyong ghey

This. The rule changes and twists they put on the game of baseball are awesome and it is a lot of fun. The dancing is just...well, pretty gay.

Yes. I, like the majority of all sports fans, know baseball is incredibly boring.

It’s made to be something adults with tattoos teach their kids is cool. That’s the target audience. Louisiana has a lot of adults with tattoos.
