There's a short documentary on Youtube called "What's In My Baggie?" about how most of the stuff that's sold as MDMA now is actually bath salts.
NEVER buy/ingest something without testing it first. People also mix drugs a lot with no clue of how dangerous it could be.

It's more than that. Most of the shite out there has no mdma in it. Just other chemicals that cause similar reactions.

Back in 2003 I bought Molly at ACL from a random hippie chick. Saved it for the Radiohead show at UNO Lakefront a few weeks later. It was amazing. It's sad that, because of prohibition, different chemicals are being sold as Molly and drug testing stations are being shut down at festivals like ACL.
ETA: Thankfully though with modern tech, if you plan ahead, you can get molly as close to pure as possible (~85%) pretty easily.

Most is methylone which was legal until a couple years ago and sold at head shops as "plant food."
It is one molecule away from mdma and very, very similar in effects. I miss the days when it was legal.

More likely meth than coke, and a prescription opiate/opiod than heroin, due to cost.
You eat/plug beans, but you can safely insufflate true MDMA.
