Whataburger’s founders, the Dobson family, will keep a minority ownership position in the company. President and CEO Preston Atkinson and board chairman Tom Dobson will keep their seats on the board, but will retire from daily operations.

There is no significant difference between Whataburger, in n out, and shake shack when talking about the burgers themselves. The fries are the difference and Whataburger has the best of the 3.
The only reason it's an argument is because all 3 are mostly regional so people get tribalistic about them.
I happen to have all 3 in walking distance so I'm a decent judge.

i am pretty familiar with all three. i think whataburger is easily the weakest. i think their bbq chicken strip sandwich is an all time great fast food item. im not a fan of the burger or fries
