If you are a Christian leader that molests kids, punishment should be a real crucifixion in front of the church

agree, I would like to see this scumbag go to jail, he believes he's exonerated because he "asked the victim and her family for forgiveness and they forgave me"

I have the same thought. Seems like almost everything wrong with the modern church is related to size.

It is almost like removing the community aspect of a church, and the close knit environment and accountability it creates in favor of giant congregations full of people who don't know each other with six services a day is a bad idea.

Then, you wonder if the same can be said for schools as the community school fades and graduating classes of hundreds of students become the norm? You can say that.

It’s an easy solution
Start taxing these criminal enterprises

I tend to blame the idiots that actually fall for their fake churches and they have enough idiots in this world to fill their congregations

In your made up fictional world, do they have cars or other forms of interstate transportation?

Gateway is a business as much as a church. God is real and he may want this place gone.

Or there was a situation and the founder was forced out along with his family members and then another situation was revealed. God is still real

I would have hung that motherfricker upside down from a bridge and cut his dick off and let him bleed to death if that were my daughter

By now, people who give these places their hard earned money deserve what they get.

Megachurches need to let preachers marry so this doesn't happen.

Not commenting on the merits of Orthodox Christianity, but those churches can be hard to find in the South. Where do you attend?

Your take away from the story of a pastor being exposed by the woman who he sexually assaulted when she was a preteen is "Oh no, extortion! What an awful woman!"

Seriously?

I think in order to be a member there you have to sign up for payroll deduction through your employer so that your tithe goes to them before you even get paid, I've just heard this though, not confirmed.

Call me skeptical.

I love these “rumors” about churches.

they aren't catholics. who is stopping them? there is absolutely nothing in God's Word prohibiting a pastor from marrying.

Well, if that 12 year old got pregnant today with other church elders, she would be forced to give birth because it's better to force her because the pastors know best. What a terrible thing for a 12 year old to have to suffer.

You Dems look for any reason to kill the unborn- even hypothetical. Happy hunting!

Well that should settle it! He's walking in purity and accountability!

Anyone who talks like this has a daily struggle with perverse impulses.
