No, you omitted the gist of his post.

He admitted in this thread that he did not read the article that he linked.

I don't need to argue semantics with you owlie, you will lose.

I don't even know why you singled out my post with all the idiots posting in this topic.

Frick Texas. I had to go to a funeral in Ranger Texas. The damned grass in the cemetery was so dry it was crunchy. What sort of maroons live in such an environment?

New Jersey, New York, Maryland, and Californa more free than the Southern states?

Elections in these states are a joke, which is very much against freedom. Not to mention the stranglehold unions have on the labor situation, gun laws, covid lock downs, etc…

I’ll take my chances in the relatively freedomless Texas.

You judge all of Texas based on one trip to the middle of fricking nowhere Ranger, Texas.

The majority of the "most free" states in this study are republican-leaning.

Hell yes I do. There was a damn town named Possum Kingdom nearby. I highly doubt it had more to offer than Ranger. Literal Rickey Bobby state.

Possum Kingdom is a lake, not a town.

Well that makes just tons of sense. Possums being avid swimmers and all. Texas, lol. If it weren't for John Bell Hood, we would just call you Mexicans.

Which you are.

Is it really that free with the amount of property taxes that Texan citizens have to pay? You get what you pay for, but at the same time it would be hard to go 24 hours on here without Texas and property taxes coming up at least once.

And no state income tax.

Look at Metro BR or N.O. vs Houston.

Louisiana State income tax plus property tax, will nearly always be more than property tax in Metro Houston.

In addition, schools are good, public safety way better.
So, overall less taxes and better shite.

Yep, everyone talking about abortion but gambling and liquor laws suck in Texas. You still can't bet sports there either but they don't even have casinos.

Oh well, helps lake charles.

Yep, there are a lot of restrictions on freedom in Texass, like those you mentioned. Also, no legal MJ.

One time I dropped someone off at the airport early in the morning. Decided to stop at a convenience store on my way home and grab a six pack. It was 7:50 am and they could not sell it to me.

The Oklahoma border is littered with casinos and weed shops. The vast majority of the customers are Texans.
