so close to herd immunity...
There's no way to know that with the data we have. Many studies have concluded the infection rate is many X higher, but with little and somewhat inaccurate serum testing we can't state that as fact.
I wouldnt have shut back down based on infection demographics, but theres no reason to be disingenuous

That’s far. I was just there floating last weekend.
Closing those makes no sense too. You’re all outside.

It’s a fact the cases are many X’s more than what is on paper

Which is why this positivity rate bs is just that: bs.
If he’s going to shut us back down, show us fricking hospital data indicating we’re being overrun as a state. Otherwise it’s just a cover your arse move so he doesn’t completely blow his reelection chances 2 years early.

And there it is.....now the GOP starts to cave.
Now when the cases start to trend down and hospitalizations continue to trend down it is going to be credited to this action rather than the fact that this spike is due to protests.
What a fricking crock!

fricking Houston bars. They protesting slow service at the bar?

I really don't care about him shutting down bars.
But when the hospital systems come out and say they're at no risk of being overrun in Houston, what triggers this reaction?

Poor bar owners and bartenders, no business can survive being yanked around like this. They were probably just ordered up and starting to get staff back in place
This also just gives the media more fear porn to blast out everywhere

Dan Patrick was interviewed by Laura Ingraham last night and said hospital ICU beds were more than ok. I forget the exact numbers but 6-7,000 beds and less than 2,000 in use.

There were 10s of thousands more people than that protesting for several weeks straight in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, etc.
