Most revolting is no one in the Muslim religion is condemning this.

for what? trying to protect innocent students. Why do you assume this is religious based? White kids get in trouble at school all the time for stuff like this... wasn't the pop tart gun kid a white boy?

Jesus Christ. Have none of you created something that they were proud of? Kids will build the most absurd creations out of macaroni and show every single human being they see for the next three weeks.
Take the image of a Muslim child out of your mind, and you have a 14 year old boy who has taken the time to learn the skills necessary to build a digital clock on his own time. Do you not think that that is something that is worth showing people?

I see lots of Muslims every day. They see patients, perform research, even socialize with us infidels on a pretty regular basis. One has yet to try and behead me, but I've only worked with them for about 10 years, so there is still time I guess.

yea well the same "creative" white student who built the gun shaped pop tart was treated in the same manner....

He should be thanking them. Ahmed is an instant celebrity genius with upcoming trips to the Whitehouse and instant internships at google, FB or wherever he pleases.
Lawsuit or not, kid just hit the jackpot

The Twitter feeds of a select few have not resulted in a behavioral change as a whole. It's like westboro baptist except Islam is like 75% westboro lol.

You say trying to protect students and bring up the Pop Tart gun kid? That's just as absurd. Not to mention, one of them is not like the other. The Pop Tart kid didn't do anything outside of biting a god damned Pop Tart. It's not comparable just because it's another stupid instance of overreaction.
That being said, you're wrong. White kids who bring these things to school are either "Good kids with a bright future" or "Just a nerdy, weird guy". They're no cuffed and brought in for questioning. Having been that white kid, I'm fairly sure I'm aware of how it goes.
Even if it was a white kid, it would still be unacceptable. I'm not defending Muslims here. I'm defending any child who spends their days working to learn something or build something they can be proud of. Those are the kids that are going to do something with their lives. We should encourage kids to do things like this with their free time.

so instead of admitting you are wrong and were talking out of your arse you double down on being ignorant as hell?
btw, I didn't just give you people off twitter but I guess the whole reading examples of the proof you requested is asking a bit much of you ehh?

your own words my friend...... i don't agree with how it escalated but to say that it was driven by the fact that he was brown skinned(bc I'm sure not everyone knew he was muslim) is wrong. There are numerous documented incidents with student of all type of backgrounds getting in trouble for stuff like this...
thats just the scared society we live in today.... it wasn't bc of his religion.

I was just joking.
Poor kid.
Poor kid.

You claimed there were no Muslims condemning horrid acts by terrorists and I gave many examples of them doing exactly that.
Posting pics of terrorists doing terrorist things does absolutely nothing to make you look any less foolish and certainly does not change that you were straight full of shite for making such a claim.

So you will just keep posting things that have nothing to do with what you claimed and were proven wrong on ehh?
You can keep trying to hit the circle button to get out of it but its not changing that you were wrong.
