Is there a list of what all would be included in phase 2? I'd have to imagine that some of the distancing restrictions would be lessened otherwise the additional percentage would be dependent on spacing as you point out.

Jefferson Parish has put out what all the entail

Phase 2 still requires the distancing, so the increased capacity doesn’t help for the most part

Even Phase 3 with 100% capacity includes the distancing. Meh

Agree - so stupid. Places with private party rooms could them up for distanced service with a few tables, but that's not even a thing for most restaurants these days.

Plus, I know some places are using those party rooms to store the tables and chairs they haven't been able to use

“You can operate at 100% capacity!!! Thank me, the government for allowing that!”-govt

“But I can’t do that because my restaurant doesn’t have the room to distance 6 feet apart at 100%?”-public

“That’s your fault for not having a bigger building”-govt

But, we also didnt support the shutdowns like some did.....

Ahh so you want to stay miserable so you can keep your “gotcha” card handy.

I have a couple friends who live in NYC who are pretty miserable.

I would get in my car and GTFO for a while if I could

Now you’re lashing out again. I’m not the one being edgy here.

The only thing better than opening up is never closing in the first place. We can’t go back in time so I will celebrate the reopening and patron spots that do open.

You won’t because it’s edgier to be miserable and say “I was right, we never should’ve closed!”

Also, with distancing requirements and spacing requirements still staying in effect, I dont now how much raising the capacity allowance helps restaurants.

Also, I don't know how willing people are to return to restaurants right now anyway. Our family went to two generally pretty popular BR restaurants on Friday and Sat. We sat inside and both cases we were only one of a few tables occupied. The "no seating" tables were clearly marked, so it wasn't just that 3-4 occupied tables comprised 25% occupancy. There was ample space for more people...just no people.

Perhaps my experience was just an outlier, but I was really surprised to find very few people out. I think the media/government has done a pretty good job of scaring the shite out of the general public. Much more so than what this board would reflect. When I told some of my co-workers I had gone to a restaurant this weekend they said I was "crazy." That wasn't what I expected at all
