I can't imagine why people think putting shite like this on the internet is a good idea. I don't sympathize with the backlash simply because she's a dumbass for just that reason.

That's what I call a crazy looking woman

Yeah - not a good move there. What a shame to go through all that hard work and have it destroyed by a Facebook picture

as we are having this discussion a dog, with no collar, just walked through my yard and went to the bathroom. would have been cool to kill the nuisance animal?

Only way for you to re establish dominance. Dog now owns you backyard baw.

You're good to go. It doesn't work on a farm and doesn't have a W-2 stating such. Shoot on sight.

Dam Guide says yes. Shoot that MFer.

No. Apparently the neighbors found out where Tiger went once the pictures started floating around FB.
Not condoning the actions of the vet AT ALL.
But these people need to be better pet owners. Cat wasnt chipped or tagged.

I'm fairly certain this is over a year old

Jesus, this was awful before I read that it wasn't even a feral cat. What a horrible way to lose a family pet.
This woman is a fricking psycho.

Good for her. A dead cat is the best cat

House cats that are allowed outside and feral cats are a blight on the environment.

I like how you left off the part about the expectation to keep the small dog in it's yard still exists, classy.

Who would kill a Ferrell cat?

Maybe not a psychopath, but a blatant disregard for the code of ethics of veterinary medicine at the very least shows she shouldn't hold a license.
You do know that vets put down millions of animals every year, right? So if she traps this cat, and takes it to a shelter, where it gets killed after spending a week freaking out in a cage, that's better somehow?

"Hey dude, remember that chick you took to the prom? She's trending on Facebook."

quote:Dude, she shot a neighbor's cat in the face with an arrow, and posted it on FB like she had downed an 8 point buck. That has to raise doubts as to whether or not she's qualified to be a vet.

ETA: And to answer your questions, the answer is clearly yes. The neighbors have a chance to retrieve their pet in that scenario.

I don't know the veterinary code of ethics, but I'm guessing they must uphold the integrity of the profession and provide compassionate care for animals. Also, public health and safety...
What she did violates it. The same end can have different means. Life is complicated, I know.
