Based solely on specs, what trucks at similar pricepoints are beating the Tesla?
Are you going to dismiss things such as range or move the goalposts when the base tesla is 20k more than a truck that can do the same?

quote:I will. It's called practicality. A vehicle that tops it's range out at 300 miles vs. 500 miles is a huge difference and quite possibly a deal breaker for me. Even for a $10-20k difference.

Any article/comparison you read shows the Tesla specs are clearly beating the similarly priced competitors, rather easily too.
Why buy the 70k cybertruck when I can buy an F450 for over 10k less? 1050 lb ft of torque and pulls 10k more lbs.
The model 3 was a killer value prop. The cybertruck is not. It’s badass, but it is not a good value at all if you’re buying it for it’s capabilities.

that's what I am getting at. If you buy the base Tesla then the 0-60 is about the only thing you can't match for a 20k savings going with an ICE truck.
Not to mention, test that 0-60 a few times and watch your range plummet.

And even it couldnt hit its budget price.

Did no one else play Red Faction? Because that truck design is pretty much just stolen from that video game.

and which specs of the base cyber is better? 250 mile range. 7500 towing. no awd.

Well neither is the King Ranch when I can buy an F150 fleet model for low $20’s.
Boomer.

I drew one exactly like it when I was six.

But in reality, i'm not sure that truck is the real competitor of Cybertruck. Only thing I'd question is the torque, I'm fairly confident the Tesla truck would have more torque.

Bro I don’t care about you seeing king ranch f150s that have a high sticker. You can buy F250s and up that can haul and tow more than a cybertruck for a lot less.
If you think buying the cybertruck makes sense from a VALUE standpoint, you are wrong.

I'm not going to lie...It looks kind of awesome. I know people on here don't seem to like it...but I am digging it now. I was put off at first but it's just so different that I like how original it is.

Not sure who is saying you can beat it for under 20k. But you can definitely beat it in all the specs that really matter for several thousand less.

Car rags are saying the 3 motor (Plaid) powertrain will have ~1000 pound-feet of torque and of course, it will be applied in an electric motor fashion vs an ICE powertrain.

What specs do you want to beat?
I admit, the 0-60 isn't going to beat.

It would look much better with a banana duct taped to it.
