Yeah. You are. A few months back you were talking about boys creampie-ing your 16 year old daughter. I'd say that qualifies as deranged.

1200 cars in one day at one dealership that just happened to translate to $4M dollars into someone's pocket? Nothing to see here. Move along. Ya'll ignoring fraud because 'your guy' may have been involved. Pathetic.
Did they pay in counterfeit money? Sounds like a large, legal transaction.

are you planning on bombing one of the dealerships soon?

Well, this is rather shady.
Have you ever been to a dealership? They are the laziest fricking people. They likely hadn’t sent in the required paperwork for months and had to cram it all in during the last 72 hours to make sure it got in.

in 2023 Tesla sold just under 5000 cars per month in Canada. I think those figures dropped a little in the last couple of year. Of course that would be higher or lower depending on the month and buying trends.
8600 seems like a lot but that number is applications for rebates and would be less than double what a month's worth of sales. While that is still a lot, it may have indicated a surge to take advantage of the rebates or maybe late applications after delivery (which probably should have been rejected by the government officials shepherding the program). I guess we will have to wait and see what investigators find.
At any rate, I doubt Musk was directly pulling those strings.

Sounds like someone decided to game the system…. What is exactly your issue.. did they break the law or simply expose the waste?
ETA. Elon is on record that he would rather they do away with these credits

Who gets the tax rebates on purchasing the vehicle? The buyer or the dealership?

Maybe. Maybe not. Hell if I know or care.

You definitely are.

In the US, you have the option to sign it over to the dealership and reduce the price, which is basically what everyone does.
Not sure how it works in Canada but I assume it’s the same.

Well, this is rather shady. 4 Tesla dealerships, 72 hours, 8,600 Teslas sold, $43,000,000 dollars in government EV rebates issued just as the program was coming to an end. Doubtful Musk would be involved in this but, yikes. Pretty brazen.
CTV News
Did the rebates have a "must be used by x date" type situation? It's pretty common knowledge people wait until the last second to do basically anything, so that's an easy possible answer.
Also, aren't you guys mad at Elon for taking mass data points and using that to describe fraud? Seems kind of hilarious you're turning around and doing the same thing.

You think Elon is going to commit fraud over $43MM? You are deranged. His net worth has fluctuated by $43MM since you posted the OP.
