That rule applies when you are a target of an investigation.
What this mosque is basically doing is trying to prevent the fbi from finding others involved.
Shame on them. They should be trying to help as much as possible.

Just tell the FBI that there’s a grandma waving an American flag at the Methodist church across the street, and they’ll be satisfied with that answer on where the real terrorists are.

This is a really bad look especially about not speaking to the FBI. What if a mosque member knows something the FBI could use the to fill in all the pieces? This looks like the mosque is hiding something. I’d find another mosque if I were any of these people. This is a terrible look.

That’s up to the individual person involved. This isn’t supposed to be a cult like Scientology. If someone wants to talk that’s their prerogative not the mosque’s business.
