That's terrible. How awful for the daughter.
A few months ago a girl I went to high school with was killed by her husband in a murder suicide. They had 3 children. Breaks my heart for everyone involved in situations like this.

Domestic violence cases are the worst
People are highly upset and irrational most time.
Drugs, alcohol, cheating, fianances all make people go crazy.
Prob one of the four I mentioned was root cause.

The wife's Facebook page looks like there are two daughters. I hope that's the case and that they're close so they'll have each other and other family members to help them through this horror.

Why not? They put them out on social media for everyone to see. The people that know them already know what they look like. The people that don’t know them won’t impact the family by knowing what they look like. If I died, I would like to others to remember me during happier times with my family.

The two girls in the second picture of the OP are the daughters of Francine Gilmer, Natalie and Morgan. A family friend has begun a GoFundMe for the two teenagers to assist with expenses and such.

I don't know the family. I'm just a fellow neighbor that lives around the corner her in Brandon. It's been on the news every morning since it occurred, and every time I see it.. It just breaks my heart for those two teenage girls. I can't imagine what they're going through.

This is a sad story. I will never understand how someone can do this. Someone with kids gets so emotional that they kill their significant other and themselves. There has to be some kind of mental illness going on there as well. You really never know what people are thinking, but damn. His job was suppose to be to protect his children and just like that.. His children are without both parents.

Doesn't sound like they're going to handle Dad's funeral arrangements from what's written. Wonder if the girls will attend?
The younger girl posted on her Facebook page, but only about the loss of her mother. I wonder if the parents were estranged before this happened or whether there was a history of domestic violence of any kind. I'm just curious what the story is.
Looks like the older girl graduated from a school called Hinds Nursing Allied about a year ago. She must be several years older than her sister.

Hinds is a 2-year community college with several campuses here in the Jackson area. I just hope it's not something that could have been prevented. I.E. someone knew something was wrong with the father and didn't say anything
