Other dogs, too, right? Or, no?

I have no problem with that. Certain breeds are known to be more aggressive. The owners of those animals should be held accountable.

She needs a German shepherd. Very loyal and protective. Pitt bull can't hang with them. My German Shepard spends most of the day going room by room checking too see if everyone is good. And sleeps in the hallway on guard alert. Didn't train him too do it. Just comes naturally. Socialized him around people to not be aggressive if someone new comes by. But is still on guard.

Nope. Just a realist.

I'd never own a pit bull.

Good to hear, because not many people feel that way. shite owners are shite owners. If your dog attacks someone unprovoked, regardless of breed, it and you should be held accountable.

Pitbulls were originally bred for bull baiting. When that was outlawed, they started fighting them. It's literally in their blood. Pitbull owners just can't grasp that.

My son had to stay with me a few months and he brought his red nose pitt with him. She is a sweet girl but never know with Pitts. I let the pitt and German Shepard go outside to figure it out. Pitt wouldn't do a damn thing unless the German Shepard let him. Pitt knew who was the boss.

my GSD was the best dog I have ever owned. He was a gentle giant to us, but would come unglued if someone was terrified or threatened.

I am not a 'hate a specific type of breed' person, but certainly appreciate the inherent dangers of breeds like Pit and Pit mixes. Chows fall into that category for me too.

We need to ban guns while we are at it.

Responsible pit bull owners understand this and know what they have. Kinda like gun owners.

No, lead poisoning would be my choice. And the lead would not be ingested.

Years ago a Buddy who delivered the mail told me a story. He was making his route when came upon an old lady walking along this country road, occasionally picking
up something along the side of the road. He stopped and asked "Granny, what are you doing. She answered, I'm picking up pieces of glass. I'm going to shatter them into small pieces, bake some bread and add the glass. Then I'm going feed some dogs that come into my yard at night that bark and keep me awake at night.

Owning a pit bull is like having a bomb at your house in which you have no idea when it will explode.
