Any of you clowns on the OT have a Tempurpedic? I like the whole memory foam feel of slightly sinking in but still need support because I have a jacked up back and neck. Looking into the cooling ones because I get hot as balls when I’m sleeping. Or should I just go with a regular mattress? (Had a stearns and foster previously and woke up in a puddle of sweat every morning)

You get what you pay for. I love my medium firmness king size Tempur-pedic mattress

The purple mattresses seem to be popular. I had one from Costco, zen I think? It was pretty comfortable. Though to be honest we only had it for a few years so longevity is questionable. As for the hot/cold, I’ve always wanted to try a bedjet/bedfan. It seems to be a pretty legit contraption.

You have the ProAdapt? Is heat an issue?

Listen brother, 20 years ago I was crawling to get out of bed in the morning with my back. I spent the 2k and took a chance. About 3 weeks in I notice I’m springing out of bed again. That mattress was life changing. Had I known how good I would rest it would be worth 10k. Get it and don’t look back.

We bought a memory foam mattress of so e sort of Wayfair for cheap, just to try it out, and it has been the best mattress I've ever owned.

Went with the Luxe Adapt. Amazing mattress.

The only reason I waited years before going with a Tempur-pedic was the heat issue. I can tell you, it is a non-issue. Literally no difference from a spring mattress. Do yourself a favor, and get a set of bamboo sheets off of Amazon to go with it.

Get one for like 300 on overstock they are called Lucid and they are about 95% as good as any expensive one.

I have them in every room of my house and people rave about them and think they cost 8 times what I paid

Three nights in on the pro adapt. I only sleep with the top sheet and I haven’t woken up sweating yet. When you first get in, it is actually cold. That was one of the first things I noticed.

My lower back is pretty messed up and after the first night I woke up pretty stiff. It has gotten substantially better over the last two nights. I hope in a few weeks, as mentioned above, I will be springing out of bed.

We are liking it so far. We are very hesitant though. Last mattress we had was a Serta Icomfort that cost almost as much as this one did 10 years ago. It was great until it wasn’t and we have suffered through it over the years not wanting to buy another one and get burned. Finally, I had enough and bought this one online on an impulse. I really hope it is as good as everyone says they are.

Been sleeping on a Tempur-pedic pillow top for the last 13 yrs, doubt I’ll ever go back to spring type mattress again

I've got the medium hybrid and it kicks arse. I don't het hot in it. Would buy again, world's better than bargain brand foam mattresses I've had before.

I have the LUXbreeze. It feels fine, but I don't know ow how the cooling compares to a regular mattress.

Get the soft one. I got the firm and although it is nice, I regret not getting the soft.

Have had a Tempurpedic for 10+ years and love it. When we travel, I hate sleeping on hotel mattresses and pray I don't get down in my back before I can get home to the Tempurpedic.

We have one. Prepare to sweat a little more n the summer. Only complaint is that it’s warmer than normal mattresses.

Great support and comfort. Last a long time too. Ours is easily 15-20 years old.

I have a tempurpedic and have never found the allegations of them being too hot to be true at all.
