Trump, or his people, refused to return sensitive, potentially top secret documents into their proper legal custody, despite multiple attempts to attain them in low profile ways over the course of a year, not sure what more there is to say.
That’s not overreach, that’s basic national security protocol being followed.
You all hemmed and hawed for years about opening every investigation, prosecuting to the full extent of the law about Hillary and her private server and emails, now, when the shoe is on the other foot, suddenly it’s government overreach and a witch hunt….even though no one knows the full context of events, but some of you sure do seem to know his innocence….
In other news, Trump’s CFO to plead guilty to decades long tax evasion, truly, surrounding himself with only the best people….

Just like hillary

He didn’t intend to have the documents improperly secured and we all know intent is the only thing that matters when breaking federal national security protocols

And how many were?

Because it is. How did it go from a national archives request to top secret nuclear program information in a matter of hours when public sentiment turned?

Do we really want to get into who surrounds themselves with shady people?

if you are consistent in your logic and applications
If you are consistent: 1) you'll understand the difference between President Trump being president who has access to and the ability to declassify previously classified information, whereas Hillary was just a bureaucrat who affirmatively exposed sensitive information to the world before not cooperating by suspiciously bleach washing all her stuff, and 2) you'd be at the forefront calling for accountability on the despotic people and entities daring to raid the recent president's home for less of a crime than you believe Hillary didn't commit.
Hillary should have been charged if we're doing this. President Trump should have never been suspected let alone raided if we didn't charge Hillary for her crime. When comey came out to cover for her, his defense was a perfect opening statement for a trial against her.
As I showed above, no--what Hillary and President Trump did were not the same because of their positions.

Crackpipe fantasyland! You’re just going off about authoritarian overreach and which party is in power because I commented that someone shot up an FBI office. Your outrage is noted, though.
Which office was “shot up”, and what kind of weapon was used?

As I understand, the process to declassify information is the president can simply say this is all declassified

They probably contracted it to one of the senator's family and he billed a billion for it

I do. Hunter Biden (who should be in prison) is riding around on Air Force One.

The FBI only publicly chastised one candidate during the election, and it wasn’t Trump, despite the fact that Comey and others testified after the election that they had reason to believe there was credible suspicion that members of the Trump campaign were soliciting assistance from Russia
The whole “Russia Russia” deal has been debunked, and the FBI was part of the group framing him and setting false narratives.
There was no “credible suspicion”. ????

Yeah, people like him probably don't even know that it has been proven that the "evidence" given as the basis of the Russia investigation was either fabricated and/or unconfirmed hearsay from a hired political opposition firm.
They're still doing the same thing with Trump right now. They know morons like him won't actually look into the facts of the case but will parrot whatever the media tells them so everyone assumes it's true. Their entire goal is to create enough smoke that everyone assumes there's fire. I guarantee that after the midterms we'll see that there was absolutely nothing backing the FBI raid/DOJ investigation. Bookmark it.

No, Bronc is a racist and a Communist.
He does not care about rule of law or the Constitution, only punishing his Political enemies ESPECIALLY if they are white, heterosexual males.

I saw that same fence on TV on Jan 6...it did a good job holding people back... Until cops opened fencing and doors to let people in
