I very recently bought a Braves World Series commemorative bat for $160.00 including shipping.Like, one minute after the last out was recorded. They are numbered 1-5000.
The next day, I got a call from Gary at Bigtime bats. He had a special offer for those who ordered first. Freeman, Soler, and Swanson were signing limited addition versions. Only 500 Signed each that took place this Saturday in Minnesota. I asked how much for the Freeman bat. He said $775 total , so $625 extra. I said “do it Gary.”
I also have a Tony Gwynn signed game used helmet from 99 against Houston. He recorded hit #2977 under that helmet. Signed in silver sharpie. It is worth way more than the $500 I paid for it in 2008.
I do this because I can. You decide if I am rich, stupid, or both.

I always purge the lines at the gas station before putting anything into my car. That $0.85 of gas on the ground is far cheaper than destructive cylinder knock.
