Watched that on TV when I was in middle school.

I watched a freshman walk off a basketball floor that sat on dirt.

I immediately bust out laughing as the Dude turns on him and says, "Bruh...I'm Allen Stansbury."

The whole restaurant clowned his arse.

That is hilarious as they look absolutely NOTHING alike.
Alan was another really nice dude on that 93-94 LSU team. I emphasize that b/c there are plenty of scholarship players on any given D1 team who are absolute dicks to walk-ons.

CSB .
Alan and I are the same age/grade. We(Woodlawn) played against Broadmoor 3 times in 2 years b/c they were in our district.
By our senior year, they used Alan as a FB in short yardage situations. Man, 99% of HS players just aren't built to stop that kind of human from getting 2-3 yards every time. That shite legit hurt trying to tackle him.

When we met up at the Advocate building to take pics for the 4A-5A All-Parish team at the end of the 1992 season I was in awe. It was humbling but an honor to take a picture next the guy who ran flat over us (Alan Stansbury) and the guy who ran ALLLL around us (Warrick Dunn).

Drinking with Lincoln. I parked in the A&P/Superfresh parking lot and did not get towed because I worked there. My Dad sent me $1250 for fees and books. I paid my fee bill, ditched the books, and made out like a bandit at Payless Shoe Store with my book money.

Mother fricker. I didn't know that.

Of course, the parking gestapo would get you anywhere. I was in the back of the dar ceba lot and my hanging fell off, got a ticket within 2 hours for " not being registered"

My first game at Tiger Stadium, I had to stand up for the whole game.

Cholly Mac invited my Dad and me to watch him Coach da Tigers from the sidelines.

When I started at LSU, you made your schedule by picking up computer cards in the fieldhouse after looking at the course catalog.

First, thanks for starting this thread. A lot of memories brought back through the fog of K&B liquor & cheap beer.

My list would have to be:
$.25 draft beer @ Murphy’s on Tuesday
$1 juice drinks at Fred’s on Thursday (you had to be 20 to get in)
South Seas
JamJam
Earthquake
Basketball games were bigger deal than football (thanks CJ, Shaq, etal)
Baseball was getting really good
Registration was with cards & moved to Reggie
Someone else mentioned the floor hockey games at the HPLong Fieldhouse
Finally, as a freshman pledging a fraternity and there was a beer truck in the front yard. Before leaving LSU, fraternities could not buy alcohol with chapter funds.
