The best guess on the evolution of the pronghorn’s speed is that it came about to avoid the American Cheetah. The American Cheetah died out around 13,000 years ago and was larger (around 150 lbs) and not quite as fast as the African cheetah. Think of it as mix between a cougar and African cheetah. I believe read somewhere that it’s estimated top speed would have been around 55-60 mph.

Whitetail deer make grown men do strange things such as wake up at 4am to hang off the side of a tree in sub freezing temperatures.

Gorillas average penis size is 1.25 inches - some of you brahs should feel better about yourself.

the most painful stings on earth
The Irukandji box jellyfish from the Australian tropical oceans wins that title. It's a tiny one-inch cousin of the huge feared box jellyfish, and its sting packs a much more powerful punch than its larger relative.
One Irukandji bite can leave a grown man quivering in intractable excruciating pain for more than 24 hours before he mercifully kicks the bucket.

That partly explains why there are 8.8 billion humans on the planet, whilst gorillas are endangered -- size most definitely matters.

Male eastern bluebirds remove fecal sacs from their nestlings to keep the nest clean and safe. Fecal sacs are similar to diapers for birds, and are a mucous membrane that surrounds the feces of nestling birds.
So, essentially, one of their jobs is to "take out the trash" not unlike us human men. Once removed they fly a good distance away from the nest and drop it. This is so the feces doesn't attract predators.

Blue Jays are part of the Corvid family which includes ravens and crows and are just as intelligent.
They LOVE unshelled raw peanuts. They are easy to open and since the Blue Jay stores food, it’s a protective container for the nut inside. I’ve watched them store peanuts in tree nooks and in the ground. I recently saw one shove a peanut in the ground and then got a leaf to place over it to hide it from other animals.
They're all peanut rich right now. I like to hook it up when it's cold. Me and the corvids are like this son!

Slow lorises are venomous primates that produce a toxin in their upper arm brachial glands. When threatened, they raise their arms and bite, combining the venom with their saliva to deliver it.
How it works:
The slow loris' brachial gland is located in a hairless area on the inner upper arm.
When threatened, the slow loris raises its arms and licks the gland.
The gland secretes an oil that mixes with the loris' saliva to create a venomous solution.
The loris bites the victim, transferring the venom into their bloodstream.

A dog's paw is actually its fingertips. What we call the elbow is actually the wrist. Dogs don't have elbows or shoulder bones.
