yea pretty much the same plant as dupont, well it is the same plant, half is invista, half dupont. Invista sucks btw.

and yea it will be a 45 min drive from LC or Beaumont. and cops suck both ways.

if i was 28 and single i would stay in LC, more to do and the casino.

I went to Randy Rogers concert down off Crawford St in Beaumont when I was working over there. It was a decent spot (dont remember the bar name),

Crockett Street? There are several bars on Crockett. Courville's has good touring bands play there....American Aquarium, Hayes Carl...etc..Courvill'es used to be on Crockett St. but have moved out to the west part of beaumont.

I lived in Beaumont and worked in Orange. I'm 26, fyi, was 24-25 at the time. Orange is awful and so is Beaumont. If I had to do it all over again, I'd definitely live in Lake Charles.

There is legitimately nothing to do in Beaumont. We would sometimes go to Luke's after work for "happy hour" and would constantly wonder where all the other young professionals were with all the plants and refineries around. The men all wear Tap Out shirts and have gelled hair and the women all just look like total trash.

Lake Charles on the other hand, while not my favorite place in the world, has a lot more to do. I've had many fun nights at L'Auberge.

Good luck and try to spend as little time actually in Orange as possible.

He said orange Texas.

White people are not the most well represented demographic in Orange. If you're saying something different you don't know the area.

Don't stay in orange. Stay somewhere else... Consider orange something akin to airline hwy past Florida blvd.

Does Dixie dance bar still exist on Crockett? It used to be full of drunk young whores on the weekend.

The smoking ban killed (pun intended) almost all the Crockett st bars.

Yes, it does. And I went one time with some coworkers, and it was literally all middle-aged women dressed like were 16.

Is that PLUS lodging? Or is that for food and lodging?

If it's the latter... man, they can do better than that.

They'll do better once they see what kind of worker I am. This is as much to network as it is to make money.

What's the scene like in sulphur? Anywhere to get a bite and tie one on with a lonely woman before heading back to the hotel?
