I can tell you that the Foo Fighters concert at Mile High Stadium this past Saturday was awesome while microdosing.

micro-dosing

Extreme micro-dosing is nothing at all, which I've been happily doing for decades; and it's worked! I should sell books and kits for this.

250mg is a good starter dose (you’re going to want more). 500mg and now your feeling it, but still in total control. 750mg to 1g and you probably should be in a recreational mood and setting. 2g and you should be at a Billy Strings show

I’ve been contemplating buying one of those growing kits. The stuff I bought online was horse shite.

This is my take… macro dose breaks the neuro patterns that form just through living life (habits, stress, etc.). You will have “aha” moments and you will realize in the moment that jobs don’t matter, material things don’t matter, all that matters is the love and personal connections you have with your family, etc. puts shite into true perspective. It’s not a cure as I find your brain wants to go back to its normal patterns once it wears off. You have to take the lessons and work to make life changes to be a better person, dad, etc. also focus your mind inwards (eyes closed, laying down etc.) actually thinking about your life.

From that post.

The bad were mostly deep and and sometimes dark thoughts, extreme paranoia, and nothings funny.
Sounds like one of those weekends when I snorted an 8-ball by myself. If you go a couple of days straight ,coked up, without sleeping, you might imagine you see doorknobs turning like someone is about to enter your room. If it's really bad, you may hear the doorbell ring, look thru the peep hole and see a man in a hat, who you realize isn't really even there once you open the door. It was fun yelling, "OK MF, I'm about to open this door, so think about whether you should be here!"

I do a miceodose schedule when I need some extra focus at work. 4 days on, 3 days off. I feel hyper focused and just knock out tasks all day long. It is essentially a vitamin for me. I get the doses off of Schedule35

I know a guy who told me he micro-doses before work.

Everyone I know who knows him thinks he's a complete moron and borderline insane. Not that good at his job either.

Microdosing is for when you’re trying to enhance your brain’s functional capabilities, simplified as to a very subtle way in which a minuscule amount of psilocybin can alter your normal thinking patterns as well as emotional responses which both become calcified over time through constant negative feedback loops enacted by your brain.

I like to think of its effects on the brain like there’s a river in which your mind has been flowing throughout your lifetime containing natural groves that have taken shape over time by thinkings/experiences that don’t necessarily wind up leading to the most beneficial way in which your mind operates, and the micro dose of psilocybin is a way to reshape the groves which can create a better path to move forward.

Macrodosing, however, can be a deeply profound spiritual experience, which if done correctly under the right circumstances will help release caches of emotional trauma, but if not done correctly, can really frick you up psychologically. Proceed with extreme caution any time you’re dealing with more than an eighth of mushrooms.

I've read a lot of people saying the shroom chocolates are bunk. I, myself, would be leery about buying psylocibin-containing products from such a commercial website.

I’m a middle-age dude with a great family, house and job but never seem to be happy or satisfied and I’m just kind of indifferent to everything now

Probably a typical midlife crisis but I hated SSRIs and Adderall just doesn’t hit like it did in my 20s. I like Wellbutrin but still feel like I hold
On to things for too long

Everything I’ve read on having a mushroom trip people say it’s one of the best experiences of their lives and it lets them let go of things. They talk about going back to childhood and apologizing for things and talking to relatives and getting closure

I would love to do that. Stupid question, but do they have some sort of retreat that people can go on for a weekend and just be a nature and balls and meditate with no cell phone? I would sign up for that in a heartbeat

There are several if you google psychedelic therapy retreats in Colorado. I have not attended one, but they do exist.
