If you spend more than ten minutes in any large organization, especially the government, you’d realize that incompetence, bad communication, and ego are a much more likely answer as to why frick ups and evil shite happen than any conspiracy.

That said, I’m pretty convinced that there’s more to the JFK assassination than we currently know. And that there’s a lot about civilized history before about 3000 BC which we simply are guessing.

I believe in the deep state to a certain extent and that our government doesn't act in our best interests (either party).

Yeah I know about the LIHOP MIHOP theories. Michael Moore isn't my favorite person, but after a persuasion class I feel like LIHOP is the situation. This coming from a right side OIF/OEF veteran.

A guy above said government incompetence, that is for sure. Did a decade in the military, very proud type person, but realize this more and more since I've been out. However, college is just as bad.

Equal comparison at that life level. You have the military with dumb newbs, and idiots at the top. Then college students who think they know everything and college professors who have never left a classroom. There is good in between though in both.

The more and more that I think about it I think there could be a possibility that we faked the moon landing. We were in a time of propaganda against the Soviets and nothing what so ever explains the flag waving and a couple of other things.

What got me going was the fact that they are saying that it will take 5+ years to go to the moon

What really blows my mind are the "conspiracy theories" that sound unbelievable at first but have already been proven true. These are all conspiracies that were later exposed and are now matters of public record. There's nothing shadowy about them now, aside from the fact that most people have forgotten about what happened.

Operation Paperclip: The OSS gives Nazi scientists fake background papers so they can be repatriated to the USA after WWII. They go on to play critical roles in the space race.

Operation Mockingbird: The CIA worked to spread covert propaganda through the media in the 60's and 70's.

Operation Mongoose: The CIA sponsors and coordinatedd terror attacks in Cuba and works with organized crime to overthrow Castro. This culminates in the failed Bay of Pigs invasion.

MKULTRA: The CIA program involving unethical experiments, drugging, and abuse of participants. One of its goals was to see if psychic powers could be weapons. The "Unabomber", Ted Kaczynski, was an MKULTRA subject as a college student.

COINTELPRO: an FBI program of the Fifties and Sixties aimed at surveilling, infiltrating, discrediting, and disrupting domestic political organizations deemed subversive, including feminist organizations, the Communist Party USA, anti–Vietnam War organizers, activists of the civil rights movement or Black Power movement (e.g. Martin Luther King Jr., the Nation of Islam, and the Black Panther Party), environmentalist and animal rights organizations, and the KKK. The program frequently violated the rights of those being surveilled.

LIBOR: Perhaps the greatest financial scam in history. Fraudulent reporting of interest rates by major banks that lasted (that we know of) from the early Nineties until 2014. This manipulation of derivatives markets screwed over basically anyone who took out a mortgage or student loan during that period while benefitting banks such as Barclays and UBS.

Iran Contra: Reagan administration insiders illegally sell arms to Iran in order to fund a guerrilla war in Nicaragua against a congressional ban on any further funding. Multiple administration figure are either pardoned prior to trial or after their convictions.

Also look into Gary Webb's "dark alliance" reporting on the CIA's role in cocaine trafficking into America's inner cities in the Eighties, which contributed to the crack epidemic of the late Eighties/early Nineties.

You can believe that, but think about this: Consider how many people were a part of that. Consider how massive the government coverup would have to be for the moon landing to be fake. Hundreds, if not thousands, would have to be a part of it. Also, consider how long it’s been since the moon landing. 40 years. You’re telling me not one person has talked or blabbed to their spouse, drinking buddies, felt morally obligated, or whatever else? I find it highly unlikely the moon landing was fake if you simply apply common sense, no offense.
