Looks like a heavy band coming through. No power outages from anyone I've talked to though.

North of Fort Worth, snow stopped about a half hour ago. Probably got a solid inch or two of snow. Now we await the big thaw over the next few weeks

ours went off and on a few times this morning but decided to stay on. We're on overhead with lots of trees around the lines so I was concerned we'd lose it to ice but we're probably in the clear at this point.

Shouldn't it all melt by Saturday? I'm supposed to fly back Sunday night

the storm is getting real in Memphis.
Trees have a ton of ice on them. They will start snapping soon.

So the freeze line has held above us for most of the morning at the Ohio River. Starting to creep down and supposedly will be full freezing rain by about 2:00 pm.
Middletown (a little further East in Louisville than us) is starting to see glazing.

Any update on power outages?

Just saw more than 70,000 outages in Tennessee. Have to think that’s mostly Memphis and areas just north

Still snowing in north Dallas. Dogs are loving it.

My dog was freaked out. Didn’t know what to do so she panicked and started trying to take a dump on the patio.

Fiance sent me a video of the dog running around trying to eat the falling snow

Up to 107,000 outages in Tennessee. Shelby County (Memphis) has 96K of those.
Texas peaked at around 75,000 and is holding around that number.

Moderate sleet / wintry mix here for several hours and ground is frozen. Not supposed to get above freezing until Saturday afternoon.

Flightaware shows a few planes approaching DFW. Will be the first to arrive since 11 last night.

Iced over real well here, but power is on. Nice and warm in the house.
