frick you, lets fight.

My all time favorite movie. I used to keep the VHS of that hidden in my room so my siblings couldn't watch it without me. I would watch it like 3 times a week for a few years straight when I was around 7 years old.

I can still recite almost the entire movie from memory

A bunch of fricktards in this thread. I’m a pervert because I’m buds with a kid who has no dad who wants to hang with me and my wife to watch a stupid movie?

frick all y’all

FLTech dont let these retards on the OT get to you.

I applaud you for trying to steer today's youth to stuff we grew up on but sometimes it just doesn't work. I guess every generation is wired differently. I have kids and sometimes what i think they will like just doesnt seem that great to them when it comes to movies and food.
Kinda hurts at first but then i just think to myself i guess they will get it one day

I would go with Back to the Future for early and pre-teen.

Sixteen Candles or Better Off Dead for 14-16.

16+ Breakfast Club.

Dating a 23 yr old in 2011, I showed her Urban Cowboy.

All of these great 80s flicks worked well with their respective audiences.

Maturity levels from the 1980's til the present have changed dramatically, it was probably above their understanding.

No.

Mathew Broderick is a douche and his whole presence in that movie is awful.

I tried to get my kids to watch the Outsiders.

They were excited the “guy” from Parks and Rec was in it. But that was about it.

They hated it.

Kids today can’t comprehend ditching school.

They are tracked 24 hours a day.

They live in a different world. No need to take their parents car. They just call Uber.
