You really feel that strongly about damn cowboy boots? Projection comes to mind.

Projection is when you take an unacceptable part of yourself, such as your feelings, thoughts, tendencies, and fears, disown it, and place it onto someone else.

Good for BR.

If you can afford, buy Lucchese.

What percentage of them are actually in state? I bet a large number come from out of town/out of state for these larger events.

You’re underestimating the number of cowboys in Louisiana. It’s a pretty big state for cowboy culture outside of Southeast LA.

Well, The Boot Store on Florida Blvd near where Cortana mall used to be has to be the oldest apparel store in Baton Rouge, so there must be cowboys somewhere around there. That place has been open my whole life and I'm pushing 50.

If BR can support Lululemon it can support Tecovas. That store will crush it on frat boys alone

Bought a pair of ostrich boots in San Antonio a couple of months back. When I said I lived in Louisiana, the woman helping me said they were building one here. Love my boots, can’t wait until this opens.

Made in Mexico with cheap labor

Aside from some of the best boot makers in the world bring in Mexico, no shite

Tecovas are cheaper boots than premium brands. But they are nice enough for casual wear. They serve a purpose. Fir a couple 100 bucks you can get a nice soft leather boot w a decent sole and heel
