These are the people being paid six figures to make our laws for us.
Should scare every American.
Should scare every American.

Where was all the Elon hate before he decided to join up with Donnie?

So, who do you think has a stronger work ethic? The guy who never takes time off or the teacher who can't wait until Summer break because the past 9 months of teaching have them burnt out?
I don’t care. I couldn’t care less how much Elon works or how many days off teachers get.
All I was saying is that selecting a profession that has a lot of time off doesn’t equate to one not having a strong work ethic.
On the opposite end, working 20 hrs a day doesn’t automatically mean one has a strong work ethic.
I knew guys in the military that regularly worked 12 hrs a day and didn’t get shite done.

It was there as soon as he bought Twitter. It just multiplied ten fold when he joined up with the orange fella.

Elon isn't grooming 7th graders like teachers

How dumb is a person that thinks Elon is lazy?
A friend of mine in Cali worked as a production manager for Tesla in the early days when Tesla was still getting off the ground and was pretty much Elon's sole focus. He had told me stories of Elon's work ethic long before they became news articles. Elon sleeping under his desk was common practice even back then and he still apparently does it to this day at whichever company he is working at that day or week. He said if there wasn't something Elon didn't understand, he would lock himself in his office and research, then call those who knew what he was researching to ask questions and learn more. Just constantly educating himself so he understands all aspects of each business.
Also, thanks to Elon and company stocks, my friend retired in his late 30s a multi-millionaire.

I would go a little further back and suggest when Elon went on Joe Rogan for the first time.

the same folks dogging elon were on the side of forcing electric vehicles on everyone just a few years ago.

I guess we see it differently. Of course, my perspective is probably skewed because so many of the "smart" people I went to HS with are teachers, because outside of taking a test for grades, they were pretty lazy and unmotivated.

There are a lot of reasonable critiques of Elon, but his work ethic clearly isn’t one of them. I absolutely hate our current sound bite based political culture.

I’ve seen the “anti-Elon Tesla club” stickers in Denver and NWA

'Teachers have more work ethic in their pinky than Elon Musk has in his entire body'

I would argue that picking up the trash has way more value than being a keyboard warrior in your home office. Yeah, you make money but let trash pile up in the streets for a few weeks and see how people like it.

Teachers and nurses are probably the two most overrated professions.

ever notice if a job is mainly women (teacher, nurse, HR, stay at home mom) it suddenly becomes one of the “hardest” jobs in the world, but it’s “unrecognized” just how hard it is so they just constantly tell us and reinforce how hard and important it is

People still don't understand
That's all you need to know. Politicians exploit this every day.
Elon is out there with a trillion dollar pay package. Teachers make $50k/year. Some of them are having trouble making ends meet. Politician B goes out and says "THEY NEED TO PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE" and it resonates with the lady making $50k driving a clapped out 2005 Caravan who can't afford a down payment on a 2015 Caravan in 2025.
Elon might not do anything wrong, and the politician may be lying through their teeth, but that gets millions of votes from the person with an ancient dodge van falling apart.

I would rather our politicians concentrate more on spending our tax dollars in a better way than trying to figure out how to steal more of our hard earned money
