I wish I had been scarred for life like that when I was 16, especially by my homeroom teacher.

Yeah, I mean I'm not denying I wouldn't still be looking back in pride had a scored with a teacher like that. Just saying, girls aren't any different, they just act more emotional when it's found out.

Teachers who do this don't do it for the sex. It's all about power and manipulation as it relates to self-image. They can control and manipulate a high schooler far easier than they can an adult. Additionally, being fawned over by someone younger reinforces their own positive self-image, as they crave attention and external compliments.
If it were me, I'd divorce the whore and thank God that I no longer was with someone so unstable that she was willing to throw away her family and career for someone not even through puberty.
