Well, she must be at least "okay" if she is grossing $2 billy for her tour....
wonder what % of that revenue is spent grudgingly by parents of pre-teens, tweens?

Did the OT attend?
YES!
It was by far the best concert I've been to (Atlanta Night 3). Even better than Garth in TS.
She puts on a hell of a show and the whole experience leading up to the show is so fun. We met up with Elle (former poster) for pre-gaming.
We got offered tickets in Italy but can't afford that trip right now, and were waitlisted for NOLA and Indy for the second leg. Booooo.
I highly recommend anyone who gets offered tickets go. And don't forget your friendship bracelets, that is half the fun.
And for men attending with the S/O, mine danced and sang the whole time but was happy there was never a line for the men's room or beer line.
ETA: Also make sure you are up on all the secret stuff the audience is supposed to chant during the songs or you will look like an idiot.

She's extremely popular with adults

Went to one of the shows in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago. I like her but not to the crazy level that so many of her fans do, and I have to say it was an incredible performance.

No, but she’s the greatest of her time.

You're really arguing against her having multiple hits in multiple genres?

She's found that sweet spot where kids (including young kids) AND adults stuck in suspended adolescence are both desperate to attend her show.
Often times the acts the "kids" (really teenagers - early 20's) like aren't liked by the parents. Or, the act is deemed too inappropriate for younger kids. With Swift a 5 year old is just as eager to go as a 45 year old.
No jealously here. She has worked her way up from writing/playing country "teen" songs to becoming maybe the biggest music star in the world.

Merch alone probably gives her another 9 figures this tour year
Another pro tip. Don't wait in the merch line. You can buy it all online.

Her music is excellent at what it wants to do. Bubble gum pop music that is catchy and captures the feminine affect. Somehow she’s managed to make it work for girls and gay guys between the ages of 12 and 45.

That's by far her biggest pop hit.
But listen to her other things, that is not all she does.

She's made bonafide hits in multiple genres of music while writing most of her own stuff and playing instruments. She's pretty fricking good
Writes her own stuff. Plays her own stuff. Sings her stuff.
Makes 2 billion dollars.
I don't have to like it (but I do have a couple of her songs in my playlist) but I do have to respect it.
And I'd MUCH rather see her than Jason Aldean. Or some raggety hip hop act that can't carry a tune.

I can list around 30 songs I like more than Shake it Off.

She apparently just turned down performing at the Super Bowl

Exactly, she is good at was she does. I mean re-recording her old albums so she owns the right and her fans (me, included) are buying them again because she puts new songs on them.
Paitently awaiting my copy of 1989 TV.
And lets not forget she just gave her crew $55M in bonuses. And she gives to the food bank in every city she performs in.
