The headline should read "Taylor Swift fan feels that going to a concert is more important than living" I'm positive she wasn't being held at gunpoint and could have left at any time.

Still not sold this girl died solely from dehydration. She was pretty young. Unfortunate situation altogether. Seems like the venue should’ve adjusted and added more water stations given the forecast as well.

Probably not in Brazil, but in many countries it’s not allowable to not have free water available at concerts. I just read about it the other day, weirdly.

By law you are allowed to bring in water in New York.

n fairness, there should have been at minimum water stations , but knowing the quality of tapwater in Brazil, I don’t know if that would’ve been any safer

And then when people are killed getting trampled to the free water what would we say “should” have happened?

We don’t even know if free water would have helped.

Go to Brazil during their "winter" months only. Nobody has AC. Imagine 102F with no AC

It’s always been hot like that , always will be. I don’t know why everybody is so fricking surprised about the heat down there.

In my opinion at 102F water should not have to be "purchased".

Rio is hot AF all the time, not sure why everybody has all up in arms around this kind of temperature down there

I lived there in 2016, it’s always hot and muggy. Always.

In another article about this the girl's friend says they were given water while in line (beginning at 11am for an evening concert).

Imagine dying over a singing 30-something year old who behaves as a teenager. We need a new plague.

Imagine thinking that these type issues at a concert is a modern day problem.

There is a special place in hell for people who opine about things that “should” happen in their personal utopian fantasy. Of all the virtue signals it’s the most pathetic.

I get both sides, but I just like there are fire codes put in place for people's safety, I think a basic necessity like water should be somewhat easily accessible. We are not talking about give people free food.. Just a little water when they are in a venue with a lot of people when it is over 100 degrees in there.

If someone NEEDS water, it should be easier to get to than having to go wait in long arse lines. But I am not as smart as you so..
