Marks and Spencer is not nearly as good a grocery store as its shoppers believe. Safeway is better, and there is an argument that Asda and Sainsbury are at the same level. Tescos overall quality might not match Marks, but the variety is so great I would much rather shop at the Tesco behemoth. Unrelated to groceries, Marks clothing is absolute rubbish. Nothing but cheap made in Vietnam clothing that Asda sells for half Marks’ price.
