Who's going to be there? Loading up and will be there tomorrow around noon. Camping in the north zone with the peasants. Rain will probably move the race until Monday

Come by and have a beer. Bud light not allowed

I’m getting old. Last time I went to Talladega was Oct of 2000. Pretty famous race though and glad I got to see it. Now that my boys are a bit older would be fun to take them and let them experience it.

I haven't been since the early/mid 90s. Camping on the infield used to be a pretty wild time.

Last time I went was like 1982. It wasn't this BS like today. Darrell Waltrip, Richard Petty, Allison Brothers, Buddy Baker, and that damn Cale Yarborough.

Those guys today probably couldn't open the hood on the car

Bet you wouldn't say that to his face.

I sure as hell wouldn't

RIP old Talledega infield.

Also…can 100 confirm the two infield entrances are different heights and RV loaded with tons of beer and liquor sit lower than ones without.

I heard that when you are in the infield, they turn right instead of left

Now it’s the SnoozeFest 500. Lap after lap after lap of side by side driving where half the field is at half throttle and can’t pass.

When there is a breakaway for some room to race? Ooops. Time for the stage caution to bunch them back up and drag out the race.

Then 20 cars get smashed in a wreck and some jackass in the rear of the field who wouldn’t even be in the cup series in the 80’s and 90’s wins and the announcers go wild like the guy actually accomplished something.

Then they frick with the cars again to “improve the racing” and fail miserably again.

Rinse Repeat.

I would think at some point, somewhere, one of their sponsors or someone that worked for them may have done or said something that could be presumed as woke. Therefore they are forever cancelled.

I haven't been to Dega in 20 years. I need to go back.

The debauchery at the Dega infield is legendary.

Saying that, Go Chase Elliott.
