this is a lot of word twisting, goal post shifting, and out right lying for a 79 year old president riddled with dementia who’s administration has been an absolute disaster the first 8 months, why?

quote:No matter how perfectly our exit was executed, the Taliban was still going to take over when we were completely out. So whether it was Trump or Biden that left, this lady would still have been set on fire. That was my original point, bc the poster insinuated if Trump were still in office, the Taliban wouldn’t be in control and committing atrocities, which is only true if one is saying Trump wouldn’t have gotten us out.
strategy vs execution

You sure know how to miss a point… hell yea let the taliban take over a country that does nothing good for us…. Trump would have made sure all Americans were out before this very stupid event took place….

plain and simple we should've have kept Bagram, Trump was not a military genius .
But the implementation, the communication the incompletion is all on Biden.
Respect for the U.S. worldwide has never been lower and its well-deserved

This is really true… he is a spineless jellyfish….. I’m not saying I could do his job better overall, but in this case???? This thread would be over and any Americans we could have brought home would be here.

Either your threshold of funny is lower than snake pussy, or you wanted to be some kind of edge lord so people would think you're cool. I'm honestly not sure which is worse.

I'm a sociopath so of course I laughed.

Did you laugh hysterically? Head back, wheezing, short of breath, ribs aching type of laughing?
Maybe you and OP should frequent open mic nights and give the amateurs a boost

Obviously Afghanistan loves them some Taliban and this is the kind of shite the Taliban does. Sorry Afgan military bros.. Shouldn't have dropped that M16 and ran away.

Lesson Learned? I guess once word gets out that a woman will be set on fire for bad cooking, they will not get any more untasteful meals.

I hate to say it, but it’s like, they can hold on to an airplane and face certain death but they can’t even attempt to defend themselves against the Taliban. Again, hate to say it.

The inhumanity of most of the Taliban is incomprehensible.

Trump didn't decide to fold Bagram.

quote:" From 2017 to 2019( alone) sent , the US sent 4,702 Humvees, 20,040 hand grenades, 2,520 bombs & 1,394 grenade launchers " . That's in just 3 years of the Trump administration.
How about the part where Trump wouldn’t have left the equipment behind and 15,000 Americans behind enemy lines?
Its illogical to believe he would send billions of dollars in equipment & weapons & then immediately try & round them up & destroy before . He sent because he thought the Afghans would use them to fight.
