which was booked about 6 months ago.

I have had no fewer than 10 people ask if I was going to cancel it and when I say “no”, they give me this wide-eyed look like I’m volunteering to be injected with bubonic plague that will cause my dick to fall off at sea.

Looking forward to a week of drinking on a half empty ship while the reactionary idiots fight for the last of the toilet paper at Walmart.

Look, I'm pretty skeptical about this whole thing, but the last place I want to be is a cruise ship.

I think you're a bit nuts to be honest. But you do you.

Just so you know, the reason why cruise ships are such petri dishes for this shite, is that their filtration systems cannot filter out particles that small. So its recirculated and spreads throughout the ships.

The COULD have filtration systems that do it, like planes do, but they choose not to because the amount of energy involved would be, in their eyes, cost prohibitive.

So that's partially why sicknesses spread through ships fast.

Also every surface is metal and this particular virus lives on metal for long periods of time.

I wouldn’t risk getting the flu for a FREE cruise in the Caribbean. Much less one that I paid for

Yeah, have at it but if the virus sweeps the boat don't be bitching about the government or anyone else having to come evacuate you and bring your sick arse to the US. Just prepare to stay quarantined on board offshore until it has run its course.

If it weren't for people taking cruises, the number of active US cases would be less than half of what they are.

A Cruise is probably one of the few things I wouldn't do right now. Not worried about getting it but they have shown they have no issue locking you up on the ship which sounds totally miserable

You know some nasty arse person will be sick on it and send everyone into a panic

Hope you have trip insurance, not sure what cruise line will still be setting sail considering all the people stuck on them lately

Maybe you're taking Tom Cruise in the Caribbean the week before Easter.
