Take a guess on the cost of this AC system....

5 ton outside condenser + inside furnace/air handler/coil + installation.
Middle of the road brand with good warranty. Meaning nothing cheap (Goodman) or overly expensive (Carrier).
I got 3 estimates and they were, to my surprise, within about $400 of each other.

I got an Amana that size for $4800 four years ago. The company that sold it to me went out of business a year later.

The cost depends on if the lead tech is white with a black asst., or vice versa.
