Imagine being a stick in the mud

It’s sounds great and all, but the idea of humans ever truly progressing is almost impossible when our tax dollars are solely used to prop up and promote those who choose not to work and commit crimes.

Can you give us cliffs?
What's the plan for overcoming Mars having an extremely thin atmosphere and no magnetic field to hold an atmosphere and protect against solar radiation? Any human activities on Mars would be completely reliant on space suits and building fully air tight enclosures. What's the plan for getting enough breathable air to support any sort of human colony?

The only way we will progress to what is promoted in the OP is a literal social reset, which would require immense upheaval, likely a war.
We would have to survive that war, which is the big challenge.
Humanity is too fractured. We spend time dumping money into nonsensical things while supporting a growing underclass of individuals who offer little in benefit to the species beyond consumption.

That clown couldn't even cut government inefficiency without his own office being over budget.

Stop with all these technical barriers. You are being a buzz kill.
Anyway.
As the sun grows more into a red giant (in ~2 billion years) working to inhabit Titan may be a a more suitable option.
Titan, Saturn’s largest moon, has a thick, hazy atmosphere, denser than Earth's, with a surface pressure about 1.5 times higher. It's primarily nitrogen (94-98%), with methane (2-5%) and trace amounts of hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and hydrocarbons like ethane and acetylene. It currently very cold with surface temperatures average -290 F and has rivers of methane and ethane.
But as the sun engulfs the earth Titan should warm up but we need to figure out a way to get some oxygen into it's atmosphere.
On a side note, Titan must have had a lot of dinosaurs to have all those fossil fuels just hanging out on the surface.

It is why I believe that this disagreement that we currently have in our country (and around the world) will not be solved peacefully. There are a lot of people whose entire existence is the grift game and the government aid game. They are not going to stop being parasites willingly. This goes for the welfare queens and the John McCains too.

If he was so smart, he could explain it in 4 minutes.

Being able to catch starship out of the air while it’s landing coming soon
Mid flight refueling in space coming soon
Starlink is paying for our trip to mars

Sounds like Titan could use some freedom

Does he stare off at the wall like an autistic kid on acid the whole time?

Don't they need to get it into orbit first?
