If im already going 80 and passing right lane traffic and you want to be a dick by going 90 and riding my arse… you’re gonna have to incur the risk by weaving into the right lane… not me.

It’s a fricking law for a reason, the left lane is for passing, not cruising, that’s for the right lane.
Language, son. We generally don’t use curse words on the tRant.
BTW, the left lane is for passing but within the speed limit. Sorry, if you don’t understand that.

I have a chuckle knowing they’re trying to go 95 around people just going to work and minivans with children … all the while thinking everyone around them is a stupid driver.

Yeah, d-bag, way to bring homeless children and single moms into this unnecessarily. You want to scroll the gram and do 8 mph under the limit, stay in the right lane with your precious babies in the backseat on their idiot devices. But you insist that you take priority over all other traffic, because you're late for work and putting mascara on your vag in the left lane? Nah. Newsflash, everyone on the road between 0530 and 0900 is likely on the way to work, school, etc.
How many times do you think most kids see their parents pick up their phone on a commute on a daily basis? There are active drivers and passive drivers. You float along in life, scrolling the gram, and barely know what's going on around you. Or maybe you're listening to Christian Rock thinking about being saved, when some MF'er needs to be at the shipyard 20 minutes ago, and you're doing a Gamecock roadblock, parked in the left lane, next to another car in the right lane going slow enough to be able to see signs for an exit four miles away, when they're driving to Mississippi.
For the record, I can tell when someone doesn't have room to pull to the right, I'm not an idiot like you campers. I lay off them and trucks, because they can't help it. That is not I-10, I-45, or even local four lane surface roads filled with "student driver, please be patient," stickers. Turn in your keys, assholes.

I was riding with one of my coiled tubing supervisors one day and he tossed a fist full of loose change at a car that wouldn’t quit riding his arse.

Or he could have just moved to the right lane.

ProTip: if you are being tailgated, change lanes, you are impeding traffic.

Strange when people tailgate you in the right lane. It’s gotta be idiots not paying attention while using adaptive cruise control.

Get out of the left lane. I also live in the brake check capitol of the world. I also carry. I do not tailgate often. A woman tailgated me; I got over and let her pass, then tailgated her back. She did a brake check at 80 MPH, flipped me the bird, and went to the far right lane and got off the next exit.

People didn’t mind when I did it. Couple people even stopped for a beer and a bite to eat.

Stop screwing around and playing on your phone in the left lane and you won't deal with tailgaters. It's really simple.

Def found the dumbass tailgater here. You are the EXACT driver that everyone here is talking about enjoying messing with.

On the interstate, if someone comes up behind me when I'm doing 70, I slow down to 60.

My main issue is their lack of a fundamental grasp of physics. At 75-80mph, shite happens fast with deadly consequences……granted if you’re a cardio thoracic surgeon who has minutes to save someone’s life, ok.
But, low IQ individuals have a tendency to not cherish life as they should. Sadly, they bring other innocent people into the learning curve.

I do my best to ignore them and just focus on what's in front of me. I really start to pay the most attention to them once I pass the car I was trying to pass before I get back over to the right because too many of those assholes wants to try to make some Barry Sanders lane change without enough room to clear safely.
Driving in the left lane when not passing or about to pass is not only an inconvenience, it's a safety hazard especially as you approach on ramps but tailgating is just stupid.

People driving slowly in the left lane is another result of fatherless children. Its up to dads to tell their kids not to do this

I am consistently instructing my boys to ride in the travel lane (right) unless passing. It’s the law and helps keep everyone safe…..especially with sorry POSs out there who have zero respect for safety. There are some in this thread but I won’t exchange as it’s pointless…..you’re simply idiots who will die stupid and poor.

It’s had in Houston. I’ll leave a respectable gap expecting a big slow down from 70 to 40 and some a-hole slips in there. It’s what causes majority of these wrecks

3 lanes.
Far right lane is the entrance/exit lane
Middle lane is the travel lane.
Far left is for passing the travel lane only.
I-10 from the basin to the 110/10 split is only two lanes. That’s a big issue. I-10 should be 3 lanes minimum from Houston to Pensacola. Don’t care how skinny the lanes get in spots. It must be 3

The Left lane is for passing in La per law. How about you just move your slow arse over to the right lane and let them pass.
