T or F: A woman’s mother is a close prediction of what she will look like at that age.

Help me settle an argument at work. It obviously plays a factor in it but I swear I’ve seen some absolute dimes that have mothers that look like a wildebeest.

Is the daughter doomed even if she takes care of herself while the mother didn’t at a younger age and still doesn’t (smoking, drinking, zero physical fitness, etc.)?

It’s very very true.

Unfortunately, it tends to be true... at least in my lineage.

May look like paternal grandmother instead

You forget that a woman gets an X and half her genes from her dad’s side

Weight and lifestyle choices, of course, have a HUGE impact on how one looks as they age.

Most people that say this mothers in law don’t care of themselves just like they and their fatass wives don’t

I hope not. My mom is a sad and miserable looking person.

Depends on how they take care of themselves in middle age especially in my experience.

My wife is in her early 50s and doesn't look anything like her mother did at that age. They have the same smile but not much else.

My wife (no pics) is 5'9" and the MIL was 5'1". No physical or facial resemblance, either.

I’d say true in most cases. You may get lucky and find the one who’s not, but I wouldn’t bank on it.

Exactly
My wife took great care of herself, worked out, ran, everything. Totally beautiful inside and out.
My MIL was a pretty woman but got thick. She was also a bitch clean thru.

Not in my case, my SO looks nothing like her mom, she favors her dad's side.
